Dial-A-Carol

Dial-A-Carol is an annual VOCM Christmas tradition. For more than two decades this program has raised funds in support of local charities. Listeners are given the opportunity to call into the program to pledge their support and in return request their favorite Christmas carol. Dial-A-Carol has become a special tradition for many in the St. John’s area and in particular for those Newfoundlanders living outside of the province wishing to send Christmas greetings to loved ones at home. Today’s technology permits listeners across the globe to pledge their support via www.vocm.com.

The VOCM Cares Foundation is a public foundation of Steele Communications. The Foundation is mandated to raise funds for charitable causes involving the health, education and safety of the community at large. Since its inception, the organization has grown to become the focal point for the VOCM radio network's community involvement.
