By Donating to the VOCM Cares Foundation you are giving a gift which will go towards helping hundreds of charities throughout our province who aim to better the quality of life here in Newfoundland and Labrador though programs pertaining to health, education, safety, and more! There are many ways and types of donations that can be given to the foundation. These include:
In Memoriam Donations: When a family member or friend passes away it can sometimes be difficult to find the right way to show you care. An in memoriam donation to the VOCM Cares foundation is a thoughtful way to do just that! In return a personalized letter will be mailed to the family to let them know about your special gift.
In Honor Donations: Not sure what to get that certain someone? Birthdays, Anniversaries, Holidays, Congratulations, or whatever the occasion may be, you can be sure that when they receive a letter saying you made a donation on their behalf to the VOCM Cares Foundation it will be a gift you'll both feel good about!
Monthly Donations: Monthly donations are an excellent way to show your continued support for the VOCM Cares Foundation! Your monthly gifts will go towards the support of a variety of events. Whether it’s through project funding or supporting a fundraising event, you can be sure that your monthly donations help the foundation make a contribution to the success of other charities.
One Time Donations: Not all donations need a reason or a special occasion behind them. If you’re in the mood to give and see us as a fitting cause, one time donations are a good way to satisfy you giving urge! Your donation will go towards improving education, health, and the over-all well being of our province.
Supporting our Special Events and Fundraisers: We hold multiple events throughout the year like: radio-thons, auctions, Happy Tree, the Subway/VOCM Cares Coats for Kids Program and more, where we raise funds for both our own charity, the community, and other charities. The VOCM Cares Foundation is a public foundation of Steele Communications. The Foundation is mandated to raise funds for charitable causes involving the health, education and safety of the community at large. Since its inception, the organization has grown to become the focal point for the VOCM radio network's community involvement.
