Peters River Raid Adventure Race
We are proud to have been a sponsor of the 5th Annual Peter’s River Raid Adventure race. The students involved had a fantastic day! There were 14 teams, from communities such as Botwood, Grand Falls Windsor, Eastport, Glovertown, and Clarenville, totalling 80 students, and 15 volunteers. Participants had to complete as a team in a: 2km snowshoe, build a fire and boil water, then finish with a three km cross country ski.The race was for grades 5-9 students and Glovertown won the trophy this year. It was rewarding to see all participants complete the race at the Shanadithit Campground located on the Botwood highway.
